Dr. Julie Baker
Dr. Baker graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Animal Science and then attended veterinary school at the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She had lived her whole life in the Hampstead/Manchester area before attending veterinary school and she spent many hours volunteering at Manchester Veterinary Services during her years of schooling. She has been a valuable member of the practice for the last 7+ years. Her favorite thing to do at the clinic is to help manage complicated medical cases, especially endocrine diseases like Diabetes, Addison's disease, and Cushing's disease. Dr. Baker currently lives just north of the state line in Pennsylvania with her husband Dr. Callahan, two daughters, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses.
Dr. Jan Wimer
Dr. Wimer has been a proud part of Manchester Vet for over 13 years. She was raised in McLean, VA and completed a BS in Animal Science at Virginia Tech. She graduated from Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She currently lives in Taneytown with her husband, daughter, son, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and many cattle.
Dr. Jeff Callahan
Dr. Callahan graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Animal Science and from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with his DVM. He worked on the road for several years as a mixed animal practitioner in Harford and Baltimore County, MD and York County, PA, before commiting to Manchester Vet full time. Dr. Callahan is the primary surgeon as well as ultrasonographer at Manchester Vet. He lives just north of the Pennsylvania state line with his wife Dr. Baker, and their 2 daughters, 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 4 cats.
